Catladder project nearing completion

Inspired and emboldened by this wonderful blog,  I started planning a cat ladder to my second floor flat in early March.   Version one shown here went up in April, discussions followed with my ground floor neighbours’ to avoid their window - modification sketches drawn (thanks to Tony – my  engineer friend).  Last night version two was raised successfully – much to my delight – photos to follow when it stops raining!

Looks really cool! What did you make it from?

The long timbers I bought new, the ply offcuts and garden mesh from a skip, and lots of screws and some brackets. Oh and a brick to hold the post and sunk in the ground… when folk have got used to it, I might paint it – green maybe
