Stone Photo Galleries

My stone work often originates from found pieces and each has a quality of its own which I aim to reveal and re-present.  I am constantly struck by both the fragility in many of the fragments and by the massive strength of the solid blocks of stone.  Splits often occur along natural fault lines resulting in quite naturally flowing edges and beautiful forms.
